BAKHTIAR RAKHMAN
Chairman of Batasa Capital

Has over 16 years of experience in capital market, investment banking and asset management. He is currently Chairman of Batasa Group. Prior to current designation, he was Associate Director, Head of Investment Banking at Trimegah Securities Tbk. and Director of Investment Banking at PT Bhakti Capital Indonesia Tbk. He also served as Senior Executive at The Jakarta Initiative Task Force, set up by the World Bank and Government of Indonesia in debt restructuring of the private sector. Graduated from Faculty of Economics, University of Indonesia, majoring in Finance and now completing Magister in Islamic Philosophy at Paramadina University. He is also founder of Amanah Batasa Foundation and Head of Treasury of the Society for Islamic Economy (Masyarakat Ekonomi Syariah) and Executive Chairman of University of Indonesia alumni (ILUNI).

DR.M. SYAFII ANTONIO
Principal

Has over 15 years of experience in Islamic banking and a renown expert in Islamic economics and finance. He holds Ph.D in Finance from University of Melbourne, obtained Master of Economics from International Islamic University Malaysia and first degree in Islamic Law from University of Jordan and Islamic Studies program from Al Azhar University Cairo. He has published nine books on Islamic banking, economics, zakat and leadership. Currently serves as Board of Commissioner and Sharia Advisor in several Islamic financial institutions, as well as member of central Bank’s Expert Committee on Islamic Banking and National Sharia Council. Mr. Syafii Antonio also served as Sharia Advisory Board of Bank Negara Malaysia. The Malaysian Central Bank.

NUR HARJANTO
Commissioner

From 2002 to present, he is commissioner of Batasa Capital. He hold Master Degree in Management from 11 Maret University in year 2002 and Under Graduate Degree from the same University in 1988. From year 2002 till now he has been commissioner of PT Transpasifik and Cozmo International. In addition to that position, since 1992 he is also in charge as a President Director of PT Handayani Rekaprama. Starting 2000 till now, he has been treasurer of IKBI Foundation. From 2004 till now he is the chairman of 11 Maret University Alumni.
