Sharia finance Advisory
Islamic Finance (sharia) is becoming more prevalent in Indonesia, as
sharia banks grows in size, and sharia bonds and mutual funds are
becoming viable alternative investment instruments. The growth in assets
of syariah banks from 0,5% to 2% of total bank assets in Indonesia has
spurred total lending by shariah bank. Although the rise is significant,
it will only continue to grow, as the case of Malaysia where sharia
banks assets have reached 20% of all bank assets. As the volume of
sharia financing grow, so do the needs for sharia finance advisory
services.
As the price of
oil continue to rise, Middle East investors are increasingly focusing on
Indonesia as an alternative to invest their funds. Investments by
Islamic countries in Indonesia will also need to be sharia compliant.
Batasa Capital has the expertise and experience of our board of sharia
investments, headed by Dr. M. Syafii Antonio, one of the foremost
authorities in Islamic finance. Through synergy with Batasa Tazkia, we
are perfectly positioned to capitalize on the opportunities of Islamic
finance and sharia advisory.
