Batasa Asset Management currently manages 3 (three) mutual funds. Those are "Reksa Dana Batasa Syariah" (Sharia Base Fund), "Reksa Dana Batasa Kombinasi" (Batasa Kombinasi Fund), dan "Reksa Dana Batasa Investa Haji" (Special Designed-Hajj Intended Fund).
Batasa Sharia Base Fund
The fund is constructed by using sharia principles and has become one of the pioneers or it is one of the first of its kind in sharia fund industry in Indonesia. Ever since it has been launched in July 2003 Batasa Sharia Base Fund has
produced steady return to its investor and even when there was mutual fund rush in the mid of 2005 - the majority of the funds were redeemed, Batasa Sharia Base Fund»s yield or return remained stable. Batasa Sharia Base Fund»s portfolio comprises 95% of sharia bonds (or shukuk) and 5% of sharia base money market instrument.
As of December 2007 Batasa Capital is the biggest sharia base fund manager in Indonesia and it accounted for 27% of the overall sharia base fund throughout Indonesia.
Batasa Sharia Base Fund recorded as one of the best funds in Asia as it shown by Bloomberg LP»s report saying that Batasa Sharia Base Fund was second on the league of 413 Bond Fund in Asia. The record was calculated on the basis of «return year to date» for year 2005 and the best reksadana campuran 2007 from Investor magazine.
Batasa Kombinasi Fund
Batasa Kombinasi Fund was launched on April 2007 and was designed to fill the needs of the clients who prefer reksa dana campuran to other type of funds such as common stock base fund. The portfolio of this fund comprises 5% to 75% of non money market debt instruments (medium terms to longer term bonds) and 5% to 75% of money market instruments.
Batasa Special Designed-Hajj Intended Fund
This is a new product of Batasa Capital. This fund is a modified version of "Reksa Dana Batasa Dompet-Dhuafa" - the fund was developed jointly with "Dompet Dhuapa" or "Charity Wallet" sponsored by Republika News Paper. The Hajj Fund is specially designed and constructed fund to meet clients' hajj pilgrimage financing. The fund is the first of its kind in Indonesia. The distribution channel is jointly operated with non sharia and sharia banks throughout the nation.
